Büyükbaş hayvan sayısı 2023 yılı Haziran ayında 16 milyon 688 bin baş oldu
Büyükbaş hayvan kategorisinde, sığır sayısı Haziran ayı sonu itibarıyla bir önceki yılın Aralık ayına göre %2,0 azalarak 16 milyon 521 bin baş, manda sayısı ise %2,9 azalarak 167 bin baş olarak gerçekleşti.
Küçükbaş hayvan sayısı 2023 yılı Haziran ayında 53 milyon 274 bin baş oldu
Küçükbaş hayvan kategorisinde, koyun sayısı Haziran ayı sonu itibarıyla bir önceki yılın Aralık ayına göre %4,7 azalarak 42 milyon 565 bin baş, keçi sayısı ise %7,5 azalarak 10 milyon 709 bin baş olarak gerçekleşti.

Büyükbaş, küçükbaş ve diğer hayvanları sayılarıyla ilgili bilgiler Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı (TOB) tarafından İstatistik Bilgi Sistemi (İBS) sistemi aracılığıyla ilçe detayında derlenmektedir. İBS, TOB bünyesinde kurulmuş bir veri derleme sistemi olup, veriler bu sisteme elektronik ortamda TOB il ve ilçe teşkilatlarındaki sorumlu personel tarafından girilmektedir.Bu bültende yer alan istatistiklerin referans tarihi 30 Haziran 2023’tür.
