Büyükbaş hayvan sayısı bir önceki yıla göre %5,6 azalarak 17 milyon 24 bin baş oldu
Büyükbaş hayvan kategorisinde, sığır sayısı bir önceki yıla göre %5,6 azalarak 16 milyon 852 bin baş, manda sayısı ise bir önceki yıla göre %7,4 azalarak 171 bin 835 baş oldu.
Küçükbaş hayvan sayısı bir önceki yıla göre %2,2 azalarak 56 milyon 266 bin baş oldu
Küçükbaş hayvan kategorisinde, koyun sayısı bir önceki yıla göre %1,1 oranında azalarak 44 milyon 688 bin baş, keçi sayısı ise bir önceki yıla göre %6,2 oranında azalarak 11 milyon 578 bin baş oldu.

Bal üretimi bir önceki yıla göre %22,8 artarak 118 bin 297 ton oldu.
İpek böcekçiliği faaliyeti yapan köy sayısı bir önceki yıla göre %15,9 oranında azalarak 559 oldu. İpek böcekçiliği ile uğraşan hane sayısı %12,9 oranında azalarak 1 761 adet oldu. Açılan tohum kutusu sayısı bir önceki yıla göre %7,5 oranında azalarak 5 bin 577 adet, yaş ipek kozası üretimi ise bir önceki yıla göre %10 oranında azalarak 69 ton olarak gerçekleşti.

Büyükbaş, küçükbaş, kümes hayvanları sayıları (tavuk, hindi, ördek, kaz) ve arıcılıkla ilgili bilgiler Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı (TOB) tarafından İstatistik Bilgi Sistemi (İBS) sistemi aracılığıyla ilçe detayında derlenmektedir. İBS, TOB bünyesinde kurulmuş bir veri giriş sistemi olup, veriler bu sisteme elektronik ortamda TOB il ve ilçe teşkilatlarındaki sorumlu personel tarafından girilmektedir. Ayrıca ipek böcekçiliği ile ilgili veriler de TOB’dan alınmaktadır. Yapağı, kıl ve tiftik üretim miktarları türev değişkenler olup, İBS üzerinden derlenen veriler kullanılarak Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu tarafından hesaplanmaktadır.
Bu bülten kapsamındaki canlı hayvan sayılarına ait verilerin referans tarihi 31 Aralık 2022’dir. Hayvansal ürünlere ait veriler ise Ocak-Aralık 2022 dönemi içindeki toplam üretimi kapsamaktadır.
